TABICA — the Tanzania Briquettes Biomass and Improved Cookstoves Association — is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious membership association founded in 2026. Its work brings together individuals, organisations and businesses committed to the development and adoption of clean cooking solutions in Tanzania Mainland.

Our mission
To advocate for and cultivate a sustainable market that ensures universal access to and adoption of clean cooking solutions through sustainable biomass briquettes, improved cookstoves, innovation, partnerships and capacity building in Tanzania.

Where we work
Our area of operation is Tanzania Mainland. The headquarters is in Moshi Urban, NSSF Building, Plot No. 7, 8 & 9, P.O. Box 3070, Moshi, Kilimanjaro. The constitution provides for regional chapters and district representatives established by the Board.
