Information we collect
The website stores account details, membership applications, enquiries, event registrations and newsletter subscription preferences that you submit. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes.
Why we use it
Information is used to review membership, administer accounts, maintain association records, manage event attendance and respond to enquiries. Newsletter addresses are held for updates you request; subscribing does not make you a member.
Access and sharing
Access is restricted according to staff responsibilities. Member application details and financial records are not displayed in a public directory. TABICA does not sell personal information.
Your choices
You may update account details in your portal, unsubscribe using your personal subscription link, or contact the Secretariat to request correction or deletion of information, subject to applicable record-keeping obligations.
Cookies
This website uses essential session cookies for sign-in, security and your language preference. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are installed. When analytics are enabled, anonymous session identifiers, selected languages and public page views are retained for 90 days. Page analytics do not store IP addresses, search terms or private page content.

Assistant and translations
When KitanoAI is enabled, your chat messages and relevant public content are sent to KitanoAI to generate answers. Staff-requested translations send the selected source text to the same service. Do not send sensitive information. Conversation history is held in the server session; usage logs contain technical metadata only. Without an API connection, the assistant offers a local information guide.
