Before you begin
Membership is open to Tanzanians aged 18 and above and organisations and companies sharing TABICA’s vision and mission. Read the membership guide and constitution summary before applying. An online account allows you to submit and track an application; it does not itself confer membership.
Prepare your information
- Your full name and an email address you can access.
- A contact phone number and the region where you work.
- Your organisation or business name, if applying for an organisation or company.
- Your main area of work: production, cookstoves, distribution, research, community activity or institutional cooking.
- A concise explanation of your work, your reason for joining and how you would like to participate.
Submit and follow progress
Create an account, choose a strong password and complete the online membership form. Check your information and consent declarations before submitting. Keep your application reference and return to the member portal to view its status and any feedback. If the Secretariat requests more information, update the application with the requested clarification.
Review and admission
The Secretariat checks the application and refers eligible applications to the Board. Final admission is a Board decision. No automatic approval or fixed processing time is promised. Contact the Secretariat through the website if you need help, quoting your reference.
Fees and next steps
The Board determines fees and the AGM ratifies them. Obtain the approved schedule and official payment instructions from the Secretariat. The website displays recorded dues and payment references; it does not collect online payments. Honorary membership is by appointment and is exempt from membership fees.
Protect your account
Keep your password private and use your own account. Never send a password through the contact form or chatbot. Report access problems to the Secretariat so identity can be checked before a reset.
